The Nashoba Varsity Volleyball team has showed their strength this fall season with numerous wins against tough rivals. With a 12-4 record at this point in the season, the team has qualified for the post-season and looks to earn the Mid-Wach B League Championship for the third straight year.

The team’s achievements have been highlighted by strong performances by junior Brie Donahue, senior Meaghan McCarthy, senior Maddie Susi, sophomore Marissa Cloutier, and senior Haley Neff. Wins against opponents such as Wachusett and rival North Middlesex demonstrate the strength and depth of the team.

Last Thursday, October 12th, the team was triumphant over opponent Algonquin, winning the game 3-1. Four games remain in the regular season against Ayer-Shirley, Hudson, Groton-Dunstable, and Shepard Hill. Their next game is away on Tuesday, October 17th against Ayer – Shirley

On the team’s success this season, junior Brie Donahue said: “I feel like we have really been playing as a team and our unity on and off the court translates to our play. We have fun together but we know when it is time to focus on the game”
