Relay for Life is returning to Nashoba May 30th into the 31st. Nashoba hosts this event every year to support the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is a charity that raises awareness and money to those fighting cancer. At Nashoba, participants and teams walk the track overnight because as stated by the American Cancer Society, “Cancer never sleeps.” Relay for Life participants Arushi Ahmed, Kara Mannion, and Caity Curtis teamed up to provide options for non-participants who want to show their support.

Suns and moon cards were sold during lunches to be dedicated to a loved one who is currently fighting, has survived, or has lost their battle with cancer. Luminaria were also sold to honor or remember a loved one who is currently fighting, survived, or has passed from cancer and will be lighted up along the track the night of the event.
