Be The Change

Kindness and awareness clubs are constantly being brought to Nashoba to affect change, but Shanna Brandt and Molly Riseman, two seniors at Nashoba, have created a campaign to encourage students to “Be The Change”.

Be The Change campaign focuses on spreading happiness and inspiration in school to bring awareness to people who suffer with depression and other mental illnesses.

On Wednesday, January 14th, the campaign’s first step was to have the school wear purple, in order to support suicide awareness.

Their next project is a stress relief exercise just after midterms, to get rid of all the negative stress and add send positive vibes to everyone’s life. And in addition, a kindness spreading contest will be launched (stay tuned for details).
