On Thursday, February 8th, five Nashoba seniors participated in National Letter of Intent signing day for Nashoba athletics. The ceremony, which took place in the media center, recognized these varsity athletes and their commitments to Division I and Division II colleges to play soccer and football. Ms. Rich introduced each student athlete and the schools which they will be attending.

Alana Carlucci, a senior captain of the Nashoba girls soccer team, confirmed her decision to play Division I soccer at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Fellow captain Grace Keith also signed to play Division I soccer. Grace will be playing at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Two of Nashoba’s 2017 football seniors also signed on Thursday. Breese Hill, a varsity football and basketball captain, committed to Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Additionally, Kyle Hume announced his decision to play Division II football at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.

Nashoba is very proud to be sending numerous athletes to excellent schools with exceptional sports programs. Lucas Cordio, named one of Nashoba’s “outstanding wrestlers,” will be wrestling at University of Maryland in the Division I Big Ten conference. Several other athletes have also signed to play other sports such as basketball, field hockey, gymnastics, and lacrosse at Division II and Division III schools.

Good luck to all athletes in their collegiate endeavors.
