The Nashoba Football  team finds itself still undefeated with a record of 6-0. Not only are they undefeated going into week 7, but they are  ranked 3rd of the top 10 CMASS football teams according to Carl Setterland of TGSports.

Nashoba has played some great football and have not only won the last 6 games, but have shut out 4 of their 6 opponents including;  North Middlesex, Algonquin, Groton Dunstable, and Fitchburg. Both offense and defense have had strong performances and have  scored  more than 2 touchdowns per game contributing to their undefeated season.

This Friday night, Nashoba will face  Wachusett, a tough opponent.  Quarterback  Sam Bolinsky stated in a recent interview with The Chieftain Press, “we need a big game from everybody on the team. Our line is going to be tested, but if we have faith we can do well. Kyle Hume and Breese Hill are also going to have to have a good game with the reliability of Robert Ryan as well.”

Nashoba’s  offense this season has been on fire. Both Kyle and Breese have scored many of  the team’s touchdowns and kicker Aiden Gross has helped  bring  the team to victories by making many extra points.

Senior Robert Ryan stated ” Wachusett is a very good team. They have strong fast running backs that compliment their offense. As always our expectation is to win and dominate on both sides of the ball.”

The football team will need  the Tribe’s support this week and next as they face another fast, strong Shrewsbury team for their last game of the season.

Make sure to come out on Friday to support the boys last home game of the season and to celebrate their senior night. GO NASHOBA!
