NFL Week #4
This week was week 4 of the NFL and now let’s break down that happened this weekend. First let’s start off with the Thursday night game which was Bengals vs the Dolphins. That game had a really scary moment when Dolphins qb, Tua Tagovailoa, took a hit which led to him being carted off the field.. Despite that, the Dolphins got their first loss and now they are 3-1 and the Bengals got back on track and improved their record to 2-2.
In the London game, the Vikings won a thriller against the saints and Justin Jefferson went off and was the main reason for the win. Will Lutz missed a 61 yard game tying field goal and it hit the crossbar.
In the one o’clock window you had the Seahawks winning a shootout against the Lions 48-45. The game was headlined by Geno Smith throwing for 320 yards and 2 tds to help the Seahawks 2-2 and Lions 1-3.
The Jets beat the Steelers 24-20 and Kenny Pickett got in for the first time for the Steelesr and he went 10-13.. Zach Wilson played his first game of the year and threw 252 yards and got a touchdown.
The Giants beat the Bears in a rain game 20-12 led by Saquan Barkleys rushing for 146 yards. Titans beat the Colts in kind of a sleeper 24-17 with King Henry rushing for 122 and a td.
The Chargers killed the Texans 34-24 with Austin Ekler having his first big game scoring 3 tds and looking like his old self. The Falcons had a big upset over the Browns by running the ball for over 200 yards with multiple running backs. Copper rush and the Cowboys to improve to a 3-1 win over the Washington Commanders with a 25-10 win.
The Eagles moved to 4-0 over the young upcoming Jaguars in a comeback win of 29-21 led by Miles Sander with 134 yards and 2 tds. Then biggest game of the one oclock window was Bills vs Ravens were the Ravens had a 20-3 but the Bills came back and won 23-20 with Josh Allen running for 70 yards and throwing for 213 yards and having 2 total tds.
In the four oclock window, we had 3 solid games. The worst one was the Cardinals and Panthers. The Cardinals won 26-16 which really had no one standing out but still a solid win and Cards defense played well. The Raiders finally got their first win of the season (32-23) led by Josh Jacobs running for 144 yards and capturing 2 tds.
The game that I was keeping my eye on was Bailey Zappe and the Pats playing the Packers. Surprisingly, the Packers didn’t kill the Pats and it was actually a great game. The Packers won 27-24 in overtime.
Sunday night’s game had Tom Brady and the Bucs vs Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The Chiefs played a great game and dominated with a 41-31 win. Mahomes throw 3 tds all to different players. Despite losing, Tom Brady had a great game throwing for 385 yards and scoring 3 tds with 0 picks.
Monday night we had the Rams and 49ers playing and the 49ers controlled the whole game winning 24-9. Deebo Samuel had a big game gaining 115 rec yards and a td and they are both 2-2.
