Bruno Mars Contribute To Prince
The 2017 Grammy’s were a huge hit and caused a tidal wave of discussion. One of the most electrifying moments of the night was a performance by Bruno Mars, who had the audience remembering the legendary pop star Prince. The hit singer walked out on stage dressed in sparkly, purple attire and performed Prince’s single “Lets Go Crazy”.
Prince Nelson died on April 21, 2016 at age 57, due to an unexpected overdose. The star sold millions of records throughout the 80’s and fundamentally changed the way that music is played and performed. His style was unashamedly wild and sexual and he made a name for himself as a multi-instrumentalist phenomenon. Bruno Mars’ popularity among young listeners gave this generation new insight into pop music and the meaning behind Prince’s music.
Bruno Mars is still a rising star and with his talent, amazing performances, and music he delivers every time. He rocked out on stage, even throwing in an amazing guitar solo at the end. His performance shows just how strong of an artist he is. Ken Ehrlich, the Executive Producer of the event said, “it’s that very challenge that has led us to some of our most memorable Grammy moments.” Prince lives on today, through his beloved music and the brilliant performances of artists he influenced, like Bruno Mars.
