Despite the tempestuous and somewhat bumpy road Nashoba’s Indoor track teams have traveled, their regular season has come to a close, ushering in an exciting post season. Nashoba’s teams have excelled this season, with memorable performances from many, and a large collection of District Meet qualifiers spanning across both teams. The girl’s team has finished their season with a record of 3 wins and only one loss, losing to Westborough by only one point. The boy’s team ended with a 1-3 record, losing to Marlborough, Westborough, and Fitchburg.

Saturday, February 4th, Nashoba’s top runners, jumpers, hurdlers and throwers all expected a good competition. Three people from each event were entered to compete against the other Division B schools, Westborough, Fitchburg, Marlborough, and Groton-Dunstable. Hosted by Fitchburg High School, these five schools came to bring their all and leave with the coveted MidWach League Champion plaque. Nashoba’s athletes are no strangers to this type of pressure, as the outdoor team hosts the League competition every year.

After a three and a half hour long meet, the Nashoba track teams returned to Bolton. The results of the competition were that the girls came in second by a mere three points to Westborough and the boys coming in third.
