Looking for a way to make new friends? How about joining Nashoba’s Best Buddies club?! Best Buddies, run by Alicia Burrows and Jackie Cannon, is looking for recruits and is welcoming to anyone who wants to join. All you have to do is go on bestbuddiesonline.org, click on membership application, and follow the prompts to complete it. The deadline is November 1st so you have plenty of time to do so.

Why should I join, you may ask? In Alicia’s words, “It’s a really rewarding experience to be able to create friendships for people who may not know how to find them for themselves.”

Best Buddies includes a variety of activities like going outside and doing crafts. They also do seasonal events like a Halloween party, a friendship dance for Valentine’s Day, and more. To top it all off, there’s a Best Buddies Ball at the end of the year.

When asked what the best part of Best Buddies is, Alicia responded, “For me the best part is seeing the buddies smile and knowing you’re making their days better and the feeling that you’re making a difference in their lives.”
