The races have begun! The 2015 winter ski season has commenced and both teams are motivated to take this season to the end.

Boys and girls Nordic Ski teams spend most of their time racing on the Weston Ski Track. Some of their upcoming races include, Wednesday, February 4th (Weston Ski Track) and Tuesday, February 10th (Notchview Reservation).

The Nordic team races other towns such as, Wayland, Acton-Boxborough and Concord.

Kali Cook says, “I am really proud of our team this season. We have all worked so hard and it has just been really fun skiing with my teammates.”

Nashoba boys and girls Alpine Ski spend their home races at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford. They have upcoming races on Thursday, February 5th and Tuesday February, 24th on Nashoba slopes.

Boys captain, Drew Anderson, says, “We have a great group of kids who have been working hard all season.”

According to Nashoba Athletic Director, neither team bases points on a win or lose record but on a 1 out of 8 ranking.

Girls Alpine Captain, Tess Anderson, says, “Our team is in a place where we are capable of improving.”
