As some of us know, Nashoba Homecoming is coming up. The date is Saturday, November 4th. As it rounds the corner, students are looking to buy a perfect dress. The question is, where should they go to get one? I will be telling you great places both online and in store to get your 2023 Homecoming dress.
Personally, I like to shop in stores to find a dress, to make sure I like the color on me, and also to make sure it fits me well. Though this is my preference, I know a lot of people that like to shop online for their dresses. This way you can filter exactly what you want, and don’t have to go through the hassle of trying a bunch of dresses on.
The first online store I would recommend is Lucy in the Sky. I personally think this is my favorite online store to buy a Homecoming dress. I bought last year’s Homecoming dress from there. It was black and sparkly, and had the most beautiful sleeves. Later, I found out that I wasn’t able to go to Homecoming, but I wore it on New Years. It was one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever tried on. Although it was sparkly, it wasn’t at all itchy, and it was very stretchy but also very flattering. I always get worried about shopping online because of the worry that it won’t fit, but I was very happy with the dress and will definitely be shopping there again.
Another online store I recommend is Princess Polly. I haven’t bought anything from here, but a lot of my friends have, and they had very positive reviews. One of my friends who shops there shared some thoughts. She said that Princess Polly has very fast shipping, so if you are ever in a rush to get a dress, this is the place to shop. Along with that, Princess Polly’s dresses are very high quality, and made with good and comfortable fabrics. My friends and I highly recommend looking into this store to get your Homecoming dress.
If you’re like me, and would rather go to the store to buy your dress, one of the places I recommend is Windsor located in the Natick Mall. Windsor is an extremely affordable place to buy dresses for any occasion. My friend went to prom last year and bought her prom dress at Windsor for just 60 dollars. You may think because the dresses are so cheap, that they aren’t made well, but Windsor dresses are very good quality and so comfortable. I bought my freshman Homecoming dress at Windsor and I still have it to this day. It looks like I just bought it yesterday. They make very durable dresses, that will definitely last you a long time, mine lasted me 4 years.
The last dress shop I recommend is Lady Black Tie. This is a store in downtown Hudson that has so many adorable dresses, perfect for Homecoming. Although I do love this store, they are not the cheapest of dress shops, but do have a lot of great dress options for you. I bought my prom dress from Lady Black Tie and it looked stunning and was very flattering. They have stretchy materials and each dress comes in many different colors and sizes. They have a great variety there, and I would recommend checking it out.
