Drive-Through Holiday Light Show Coming to Lancaster
A new COVID-friendly event is coming to the Lancaster Fairgrounds, located on 117, starting this November. The Lancaster Celebration of Lights is a drive-through light showcase featuring over one million LED lights. While driving through the display, viewers are suggested to tune in to an FM radio station on their vehicle’s stereo. This station will play holiday music which will go along with the light show.
The exhibit spans over a mile of roads throughout the fairgrounds, and features a ninety-foot Christmas tree, as well as an eighty-five-foot wreath. The show will be here in Bolton from November 25th through January 3rd, and it will be open daily, starting at 5 pm each day. Monday through Thursday, the show will be open until 10 pm, and on Fridays, weekends, and holidays, it will be open until 11 pm.
You may purchase tickets on-site for $25/vehicle Monday through Thursday, or $28/vehicle Friday through Sunday, as well as on holidays. By purchasing tickets online at lancasterlightshow.com, you will be able to save $5 off your ticket. Limousines, vans, and small buses will have higher pricing, and they also offer group rates for larger parties. You can buy your tickets now and start planning your family holiday outing. However, don’t forget your ticket day since your purchase is non-refundable.
This experience will be a perfect socially distanced holiday outing, as there will be little to no contact with any workers or other guests. Each group will stay in their car, as exiting the vehicle for any reason is not allowed. You can take as many pictures as you want from inside your vehicle, and you can even bring pets, as long as they stay in the vehicle as well.
Cars can arrive at 318 Seven Bridge Road in Lancaster, MA starting at 5 pm daily, and will spend almost an hour viewing the light show. The last vehicle admitted entry must arrive forty-five minutes before the respective closing time each night. Go out and enjoy this festive light show with your friends and family this winter!
