2 Ovens is a brick oven pizza restaurant located at 84 Boston Turnpike  in Shrewsbury, MA. They are owned by the ever popular Bertucci’s and opened their doors in 2012. The idea for this restaurant began when the owners of Bertucci’s became curious if they could create a restaurant that only used brick ovens, and from that the idea for 2 Ovens was born. Everything is made in a brick oven: from the pizzas to the cookies. They are open all week Sunday through Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM,  Thursday from 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM until 12:00 AM.

2 Ovens serve a variety of different delicious foods from pizzas, to salmon to their mouth watering desserts. Although all of their food is delicious, their pizzas are what they are known for. The chefs go out and hand pick the tomatoes for their sauce in order for it to have just the right taste. They make their dough fresh daily with the Bertucci’s original pizza dough recipe from 1981.

Their pizza varieties include mac & cheese, BBQ pork, pesto, and shrimp, a newer menu item, and so much more. In addition to pizza they also serve mac & cheese, salmon, cod and a variety of salads and side dishes.  Their desserts are also something many people rave about; they have a seasonal dessert that is constantly changing. One such dessert is a brick oven chocolate chip cookie or if that wasn’t decadent enough, they also serve it as a sundae. Whether you order one or not, this restaurant delivers a sweet treat to every table as they provide a cookie to each patron when the check is paid.
