Varsity Nashoba Volleyball has been killing it by starting out the season with a 3-1 win against Leominster. For the first time on Varsity, sophomore Meaghan McCarthy had 22 hits, 4 kills, and 91% of her serve accuracy.

Newcomer and senior Nathan Kovacs had 5 aces and assisted on 12 kills. The two senior captains, Jordan Brady and Olivia Perkins, framed the net and led the team. Olivia was 19 for 22 at the service line with 8 aces and 8 kills.

Meanwhile, the right side hitter and co captain Jordan Brady, contributed 7 kills, 3 set assists, and 2 digs. Jordan commented, “I think that the team this year has incredible potential. We’ve come out very strong this year and showed how well we work together. I hope to continue growing and developing as a team, to hopefully go farther into the playoffs this year.”

As of today, Nashoba Volleyball is on a winning streak of 4-0; keep it going Chieftains!
